New Testament World of Jesus:

 

Begins Tuesday, February 21 with dinner at 6:15 followed by DVD and discussion. The series enters around the historical circumstances leading to Jesus' death. Rev. Johnson will lead this 6 week course during Lent. Call the church office to sign up for this free Bible study. The format will follow what we did during the ALPHA and Life Worth Living series.

 

Sunday, Feb. 12  Boy Scout

Sunday, Feb. 19. Worship at FPC, Festus. No worship at Grace that morning! Let’s go meet the people of FPC and see their building! Rev. Johnson will preach. The assimilation is proceeding.

From the deacons-- Blood Drive in Fellowship Hall, Monday, Feb. 13, 3-7pm.  As we approach Valentine’s Day, it is better to give than receive. One of your sweeties might need it. Call the office for a time to give if you are not contacted by the Red Cross or the Deacons.

 

Scatter Garden Dedication

Our Scatter Garden was dedicated on Sunday, June 26. Grace Presbyterian now has a special area set aside in our church park, under the stained-glass windows, to accept ashes of church members and friends. A special plaque and a rememberance book are kept in the Narthex for viewing.If you are interested in more information about the Scatter Garden, call the church office at 937-3019.

 

Youth Director--Terry O'Neill

Grace Presbyterian Youth are under the direction of Terry O'Neill. Terry has lots of experience directing youth programs and we are excited about the ministry he is doing at Grace with our teens.
